L&L has an extensive Product Development Department. Our team of PD engineers is skilled in vehicle component design, application engineering and providing production drawings and illustrations showing installation of our components for our customer base. Our experienced staff of designers and FEA engineers is fully trained in CAD design as well as finite element analysis modeling of components and vehicle systems. We are capable of performing full vehicle crash analysis and are in process of obtaining capability internally to perform finite element blast analysis. We also have a complete prototype facility at our Romeo, Michigan operation as well as local ballistic testing capability up to .50 caliber specifications.
