L&L Armor Systems' R&D Department provides a key core competency to our company. Our PhD scientists, utilizing state of the art lab processing, analytical and physical testing equipment, are able to develop, analyze and formulate custom resins and materials for a variety of applications including specialized composite armor resins, energy absorbing foams, structural materials, adhesives and sealants. Of particular note is L&L Armor's ability to perform quasi-static punch shear testing, simulating the energy absorbed by an armor system. L&L Armor is able to run scale up and prototype operations in R&D as the equipment is analogous to our production equipment
